I survived the entire first week of residency, and now only 51 weeks stand between me and the end of intern year! Tonight I start a week of night shifts. Other than working, I had my first day off yesterday. I went to the new gym I joined, had lunch at a Peruvian place called Paiche that was delicious, cleaned Lemon and Blue's cage and the house, and had dinner with Amanda, who just finished residency on Thursday! I also picked my friend up from the airport and attempted to stay up really late so I can transition to being awake all night.
