Sorry for not posting for a few days, I've been having a lot of fun being very lazy and recovering from some intense tourism :) I also added and fixed pics from back through the Berlin posts.
I arrived in the small town of Neckartailfingen on the 1st and it has been so nice to relax in a small town! I went with Jutta do a town called Kirchheim that was really cute and has a lovely little market. We also had a fun BBQ with delicious food from the grill on Jutta's balcony.
Yesterday was a lovely lazy Sunday and I relaxed a bunch. Jette and I went on a walk to a nearby strawberry field and ate the most delicious strawberries straight from the plants! It started raining while we were at the field so we got totally soaked while walking back to the house. I could fully ring out my tshirt. We had waffles for dinner that were super yummy and watched some tv. The show was a crime type show like the ones I love at home, but 1.5 hours of German was too hard to follow and I only half grasped what was going on, if even that!
This morning we went into Nürtingen and did some grocery shopping, went to the hardware store (they sells pets at the hardware store!), and I got my train reservation for Wednesday night at the station. Surprisingly the train was almost totally booked already, so I was only able to get a seat for the night train instead of a bed in a couchette. Bummer, but at least it was only €5 which saves a little cash.
Tonight I will cook my pork chops and hopefully they will turn out well! Tomorrow I think we will go to Tübingen and explore a bit there.
