I have now been home for a week, and man has it gone by fast. I have actually done a lot while I have been home and have left the house every single day. So much for my pan of sitting around a lot! I guess thats tough when there isn't a lot on TV in the summer, haha.
Anyways, I have been shopping and got some really great new shirts (all striped of course, I think I really only own stripes these days), some new shoes, a new dress for who knows what, and a great dress for my white coat ceremony on August 5th! I also got my pants hem let down, and they are ready to be picked up, so hopefully they are long enough now!
Besides shopping I have met up with my old coach and her kids for lunch, I have made the inevitable trip to IKEA, hung out and watched a Giant's game at my grandparents house, eaten some of my favorite bundt cake, gone to a strange play, and so much more. I can't believe I only have one more week living here!!
The plan for today is to go to the farmer's market downtown, which I haven't been to in months so I am pretty excited. I am also going to meet up with an old friend and teammate and then go to my neighbors homecoming party since he just returned from a two year Mormon mission in Japan. Pretty fun stuff!
Oh, and the Olympics start in less than a week and I couldn't possibly be more excited!!!!
