I'm at the airport on my way to España for the first time! Nice was fun, but the room was so hot I woke up a ton in the middle of the night. Here's to hoping Barcelona has some A/C!
I guess we'll see over the next few days how good my Spanish is after eight years of never ever using it. I'm not counting on much, though I did get much for comfortable with French over the past five days (much better than I was in Paris with dad stressing me out about it!). Surprisingly this will really be my first time ever in a Spanish speaking place. I went to Cozumel once for a half day, but that doesn't really count. Now that I think of it I guess I've been to Puerto Rico twice too. I can't believe I only have six more nights is Europe. This trip has gone by so fast and so slow all at the same time.
