This morning I packed up yet again and took the RER back into Paris to catch my train down south to Nice. I got to the station way to early, do I killed time by reading.
My train left Paris Gare de Lyon at 12:49 and I had just under a six hour ride. I took a nap, watched the movie Like Crazy, and did some more reading. All in all a nice ride. The south of France had some pretty scenery as well.
I arrived in Nice a bit later than scheduled, but I could have stayed on the train even longer. I was quite content to ride along today for some reason. I got off the train and was so hot. I should not have been wearing long sleeves, long pants, socks and running shoes whole carrying my backpack. I took the tram to my hostel and checked in. It was hot there too (though thankfully it has cooled down a bit now). I had a pretty chill evening, got a baguette and eat while walking towards the stony beach, where I read for a bit, then got a small gelato and walked back to the hostel. I'm just chilling here now, but it's 10:40 so I think I'll go to bed soon!
