Today was officially my last day away from home! I can't believe it is already over, but I am ready to be home and to see my family and most importantly to see my puppies Max and Koa!!
This morning while Molly went to work on her model I had some breakfast and watched some tv. Man I can't wait to watch on a real tv in an air conditioned room! I'm so sick of being hot and sweaty!! When Molly got back she had lunch and then we went down to see the 9/11 memorial which was really cool! I think they did a wonderful job executing the monument.
After visiting the World Trade Center site we headed back uptown where Molly went back to the studio and I met up with Lindsay and Andy for some ice cream and a quick catch up. It was great to see them! After we parted I went to the studio to get the apartment key and to see Molly's model. I can honestly say that I don't really get it at all, but it looks cool!
I just basically hung out at the apartment the rest of the evening, leaving only to get some dinner at the market down the street. I was supposed to have dinner with a friend but I couldn't get ahold of her all day, which was a total bummer.
So, I will not miss being this hot, but I will of course miss the city as always. I will miss hanging out with my sister too, but at least I will see her soon when she visits Michigan! Yay!
