Today I got to go to work since it isn't a national holiday here. Joy! It is so not fun to hear about everyone's day off plans while you are sitting in an office hand copying data into a book with no Internet to distract you. Luckily the people around me are nice and fun so that makes work more fun. I was in a weird mood today though where I just didn't feel like talking to people. Anyways, I got though the day and we even shared our cake with everyone at the office. We had attempted to make icing in the morning before work, but it turned out way too sweet in my opinion. I didn't have any but Joan seemed to like it okay.
After work I talked to my mom for a bit and then we set out for dinner at Crystal. When we got there they didn't have either of the dishes we ordered, so we ordered a different dish and they didn't have that either. W eventually decided to try somewhere else for dinner because they really only had traditional food and we eat that enough for lunch. We ended up going to the restaurant at a hotel by the market called TLT and I had a burger and fries in honor of Independence Day! It was dark when we walked back since dinner took forever and I was extremely paranoid for some reason, but we made it back fine and in one piece each.
When I got back in my room I was welcomed by an ant party invasion in my bathroom which I had someone from the guest house deal with. There were so many ants and they were so gross. Esther did a great job dealing with them for me! She is wonderful. After the ants were gone I was able to get ready for bed and talk to my sister for a bit. Now I'm going to watch the beginning on a movie I rented on iTunes that is expiring before going to bed. 8am staff meeting tomorrow, yay for waking up extra early.
