As soon as he got home I finished getting ready and we headed up north along to coast to Galway. The drive was quite pretty, though the road was windy and narrow. Dad described driving there as "exhausting." We finally arrived in Galway and walked around the city center. There were a ton of cute shops and we had a great time walking around. We also ate lunch there at a great little bakery. I had a "saussie and veggie roll," which was basically sausage and some vegetables in a pastry shell, and a chocolate chip cookie made with rum.
We left Galway around 4pm and drove down to Ennis back in County Clare. We were trying to find a specific shop but it turned out that it didn't sell what we were expecting, so we just walked around the town there too until dinner time. we had delicious Thai food served by a man dressed as a woman. She/he was very nice and we had a lovely meal.
After dinner we drove back to Lahinch. I helped gram get some money from the ATM and chatted with her for a bit before easing back to my room. Gram fell down this morning a got a fat lip, but at least no stitches necessary this time! Now dad and I are watching CSI:NY before we go to bed. :)
