Last day with the fam

Today was dad, gram and gramp's last day in Ireland. Dad will head back home to the bay in the morning, G&G will head to Scotland to visit Christine in Glasgow, and I will take the train to Dublin.

Dad of course got up bright and early to play one last round of golf, this time at Doonbeg. Gram and gramps decided not to golf today so we drove down to meet dad for lunch at the beautiful resort. I could definitely spend some good relaxing time there someday when I actually have money. The resort is made to look old, but it was built in the last decade. Basically it is amazingly beautiful.

After lunch dad and I drove around yet again and decided to check out the local supermarket in Ennistymon near Lahinch. It was fun just to walk around the store and see what they had available, what was the same, and hat was different. I dot know why but I love checking out supermarkets. After that we checked out a hotel near some falls in the town and I got to pet another donkey. He came all the way across the field just to come see me and it was awesome.

The rest of the afternoon we spent relaxing and getting everything together to travel tomorrow. We got G&G their boarding passes (1€ just to print at our hotel eww) and dad made me watch a stupid episode of Judge Judy (I pretty much dislike all episodes of that show though).

All four of us went to dinner at O'Looneys down the street right on the water. It was a really nice last dinner and some great times with my family. I only wish the rest of the family could have been with us too! We got to see horse buggies racing on the beach, and the sun beginning to set along the water. It was quite lovely.

We have now all said goodbye to each other and are ready to head to bed. The American Idol results show is on TV here right now, and even though I googled who was voted off earlier today, I'm excited to watch!
